Hi! I’m Amy Larkin. Welcome to The Uncommon Bobbin. I have been quilting for over a decade and I love to watch pieced tops turn into quilts that somebody will enjoy for years. I would be honored to help you finish your treasured work of art in style. I know the time, effort, and love that you have put into creating your quilt top. I would be delighted for the opportunity to help you finish it and put it back in your hands to enjoy!

My goal as a quilter is to make the quilting look custom by the way we carefully select the quilting design to match your quilt top. My personal style leans toward modern-looking, often geometric or abstract quilting patterns, but I sometimes see a novelty design that just works, too. I favor medium density quilting with a goal of giving your top a lovely texture that compliments your work.

The services I provide are exclusively digital edge-to-edge designs. This means that the quilting will be uniform across the quilt top and not specific to any given area.
